Job summary

As a Network & Security Engineer at Diversified LLC you will design, deploy and maintain secure network and firewall architectures for enterprise and SME clients. You will work on routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi, monitoring, and network optimization projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement LAN/WAN architectures, VLANs, and routing policies.
• Configure and maintain firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, etc.) and VPN services.
• Deploy and support wireless networks (Aruba/HPE, Cisco Meraki) and access points.
• Monitor network performance and security using NMS/SIEM tools; respond to incidents.
• Perform network troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production environments.
• Assist in network capacity planning and documentation for client projects.
• Work closely with project teams for implementation, cabling coordination, and commissioning.
• Provide technical support and escalation for critical incidents; participate in on-call rota if required.

Required skills & qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 4 to 7 years hands-on experience in enterprise networking and security.
• Valid CCNA or CCNP; preferred: CCNP Security, Fortinet NSE 4+, or Palo Alto PCNSE.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), switching (STP, VLANs), and network design.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and network monitoring tools.
• Practical experience with wireless deployments, network cabling standards and IP addressing.
• Basic scripting (Python, Bash) for automation is an advantage.
• Excellent English; Arabic is a plus. UAE driving license preferred.

Experience
4+ years in enterprise networking or service provider environments. Prior experience in UAE or GCC projects preferred.
